A prerequisite for efficient inventory management of assets is the printing and affixing of labels. There are two types of labels:

Labels for equipment
Labels for rooms

Both types of labels can be created at any time in any quantity using conventional Zebra-compatible label printers in the office or on the go during asset inventory.

The inventory process consists of the step “Scanning a room label.” This loads all assets assigned to this room into the mobile device. In the second step, all asset labels in the room must then be scanned.

The asset inventory offers all the options needed to respond immediately to discrepancies (unknown assets in the room, missing assets, asset recording). In addition, photos can be taken with the camera and archived in SAP, linked directly to the asset.
